How I Use It

QR Droid allows students to quickly and easily create new QR codes for a variety of different uses. The ability to create QR codes for business cards, web addresses, contacts, calendar events, WIFI networks, geolocations, etc. allows students a lot of freedom in sharing information with others or retrieving information from others. I personally used it to link to web information on my Word Wall. Students could scan the QR code and then read the word, definition, pronunciation key, part of speech, etc. on their device without having to look up the word in a dictionary or their text. I also used it to post on my board the dates of important upcoming events for the students to scan and add to their own calendar(s) in their own device(s).
