Fantastic supplement to classroom lessons and curriculum.
I LOVE this program. I discovered this program by chance one day online, experimented with it and shared it with my teammates. Now, we all use it! It is an integral part of our teaching. I completely recommend it as a supplemental program to any curriculum. I would hesitate to use it independently as an instructional source of teaching. Blended with direct instruction and quality hands on practice, it provides the necessary learning environment for students to practice and deeply learn mathematics.

I'm a big fan of ZEARN, especially in the beginning of the school year. My students got excited about math and they liked the ease and pace that they were able to all follow the program.
Overall, I think this is a terrific math program and would keep it in the rotation.

Math Fun
I love that this tool is aligned with Engage Math. It allows my students a fun way to practice their skills. The thing I wish they would change is when they are earning the power, if they get one wrong that they do not more on instead of having to start over. This would have the struggling students avoid the frustration level.

Zearn is great for lower level math. It allows for the student to play the games that the teacher has assigned to give extra help with some of the skills that they are struggling with.
This tool was easy to use in the classroom and it allowed for me to give my students the extra work that they need in the classroom and at home. I think that this program can be used for all levels of learners which makes it very easy to give each student their own work. It also allows for students to achieve and strive for more.

My kids love Zearning and so do I :)
I am a huge fan of Zearn, especially the 50/50 model with a built in flex day. I feel like I have such a great grasp of what my students have mastered along with what they are struggling with. Since I am able to see each student each day, I am able to help them out when their confusion is small, instead of waiting for a test to reteach. My students absolutely love Zearn, I was a little nervous in the beginning about how they would do working independently since I would be teaching a small group, but they have rocked it. The students love all of the games ( fluency that adjusted to fit the needs of each student) and the songs that are played to help them learn multiplication. I love that they are so engaged in the lesson and when they come to small group for lesson they are able to make great connections to what they have learned. My highest student is literally 2 missions ahead of me and thriving, while I have some students who are few lessons behind my small group lessons, but I love they every student is able to get what they need. After doing Zearn for a year and half, I have nothing negative to say about it. The kids love it, I love it and I can tell that they are growing everyday.

The highest quality digital compliment to my math instruction
I worked in a middle school as the coordinator of small group instruction and intervention. 50% of our students were significantly below grade level. Their elementary math curriculum did not engage them or support their teachers to deliver coherent, rigorous instruction that targeted differentiation and personalization every day. I truly believe if our middle school students had experienced Zearn Math implemented with fidelity in their elementary schools, they would have loved learning math and they would have entered middle school with the foundational knowledge they needed to succeed in their middle school math classes and access more opportunities and had greater success in their STEM classes.

How Zearn Changed My Teaching
Zearn has changed the way I teach math because it provides the blended learning experience I was looking for. Students get the fluency and initial practice needed that always took up so much of our class time. Now, I can spend my time planning higher cognitive demand tasks for small group lessons, so that all students get access to high level work. Zearn also provides my students an opportunity to work at their own pace through the lessons. My only wish was that the Zearn/Eureka materials provided more extension work for the learners who need more challenge, such as a collaborative space for team problem solving projects. Overall, I think the Zearn-Eureka combination is an incredibly powerful curriculum that I am confident will serve my students well.

With less guessing and zero stressing, Zearn is a better way to practice skills in school and at home!
Overall, I think that Zearn is a great tool for students who need extra practice or for parents who need to understand the "New Math." All of my students (and parents) really enjoy the program due to the step by step guided practice. Many of my students are visual learners, so the videos prove to be very helpful. Zearn is a great way to practice new skills!

Zearned It, Learned it!
I recommend Zearn to all Math classrooms. It's bright, colorful, engaging and aligns to Eureka's curriculum! It's a perfect alternative to the old school way of teaching and learning math. It also frees up teacher time to work in small groups and provide enrichment to struggling students. If I could make a suggestion, I would ask that Zearn allows teachers the option to move students to specific lessons instead of the block of lessons. I would also like the feature of sharing an account with my partner teacher since I am in an inclusion setting. Aside from that, I love Zearn and I can't wait to use Zearn again in my classroom this year.
