Schoology has transformed teaching and learning in our district for the better. I can say this with confidence. Our analytics continue to grow and the feedback continues to be positive. Our teachers, parents, and students love Schoology and all it offers in support of the teaching and learning process. Schoology listens to feedback and works endlessly to make a powerful educational tool even better. Their help center is diverse and valuable while also being divided into teacher, student, and parent sections. That's a great touch. Their social media presence is extremely supportive. It's clear they value what is shared on social media and that makes a difference. This is year three with Schoology and we're looking forward to continuing our journey with them. It does all our teachers and students want it to do and so much more.

Overall satisfaction with Schoology is high. VERY HIGH. Their support is phenomenal and very rapid to respond. There is a strong user base of connected educators using Schoology that leverage the platform above others. One of the few that focuses on "Teachers helping Teachers". Students ability to use Schoology and own their learning is crucial. The recent feature release of Student portfolios is a big gain. Now there is an ability to have students demonstrate and showcase work that is relevant and rigorous to a broader community. Schoology's platform is ever-evolving which is nice because they recognize with the changes in education and learning needs, the platform needs to advance. I continually look forward to new releases that meet the needs of our teachers, students and community.

Schoology is truly a must-have tool for teaching and learning in the digital age! There are a lot of features available, and Schoology Support does a great job of listening to teacher needs and are constantly making enhancements to support teaching and learning. There are additional features that are only available with the enterprise version. Teacher, parents and students can use the Schoology mobile app that rocks as well.

This is in my opinion the one-stop-shop for learning tools in the classroom. It helps me and my students stay organized whether at school or at home, allows students to collaborate on lessons and share their learning with parents and the world, and has automated a good portion of my grading for me!

Overall, I will say that this product, though not perfect, has made my work as a teacher much easier. I wanted to go paperless and I wanted a system that could easily organize my units. Schoology has folders to do that and resources to keep me and my students organized. It also has groups for all different subjects, which allows me to keep in the loop about new features and products that can benefit me and my classroom. There are elements that still could be updated, such as student annotation features or captioning on webinars for the Deaf, but the Schoology team has been very responsive and open to feedback and are always working to make changes, so I have no doubt that those features will appear soon.

Schoology is amazing! There is really nothing "bad" I can say about Schoology, other than you "may" get overwhelmed with all Schoology has to offer, but there are numerous tutorials available in the Schoology help center and on YouTube. You will not need any other management system. Schoology allows students to access class resources and materials, anywhere, anytime, as long as they have an internet connection. It gives teachers an area for communication and resource sharing. Schoology has it all.

I have used a wide range of LMSs in my classroom, and Schoology is by far the most student and teacher friendly one I have encountered. It's very easy for teachers to get started using; however, it's robust enough for teachers that want to create a blended or flipped classroom. Having all my course content available on Schoology allows my students access to it 24/7. The students are now having to be more accountable for their work. They can no longer use the excuse, "my dog ate my homework" because it's all online. Schoology also helps me be a better teacher because I can provide more accurate and detailed feedback on the work and assessments my students submit. When using rubrics on assignments, I can provide criteria-specific feedback. This is key to helping students understand how they can improve their work. One of the best things about Schoology is they take feedback from their community of educators and use it to continually improve their platform.

I love Schoology! Makes my job as a teacher easier and makes learning fun and engaging for students.

I think that this program is valuable for students in a middle school setting that have a 1 to 1 technology program. If schools do not have this type of technology program it may not be as beneficial. Students are able to access their courses anywhere and there for this would allow them to complete course work outside of school. The window on the right side that shows the upcoming due dates for assignments is a helpful tool to help teach teenagers organization skills. Students are able to join numerous classes at once so they have access to all subjects. Teachers are able to add their own information for lessons and make it as detailed as they want. As a team the 7th grade teachers I work with use this program. They began by using it to provide information to upcoming 7th graders. they are now creating class content that will be used to provide information, assign activities and then to assess what the students have learned. I have also experienced this program as an adult for various professional developments. The program allows for a variety of uses. By using the SAMR model I believe that this program would fall in the Redefinition level. This would be explained by the fact that students are able to connect with other classmates, review their posted information and reply back.

At times assignment submission can be confusing but as long as the set up is clear and the teacher reviews/demonstrates the procedures, this can be ameliorated. Students with limited reading skills can also become lost at times within the site and may need added support as they become more familiar with the program and procedures. Using the SAMR model, I would place this resource as a Redefinition level in that allows for the connectivity between students in discussions about topics and/or assignments as feedback. Overall, this is a great LMS option for either classroom or school-wide use and one which I recommend.
