Self-Paced Math Curriculum Makes It Easy to Replace Paper
Front Row allows students to write on the iPad surface as they solve problems so there's no need to have paper and pencil at the same time. There are hints and videos available to view when a student gets stuck, so no more waiting for me to be available. I also like that Front Row has paper assignments available for all the math so if a student is absent or I want to assign homework I can create leveled assignments for each student with a couple clicks. Students enjoy the optional trips to the store as a means of taking a break and they love seeing coins added to their bank as they solve problems correctly. It's a good mix of multiple choice and fill-in and the interface is clear and easy to view, even for a student I have with a vision impairment. There is also a read aloud feature for students who need it.
The reading articles are helpful for reinforcing comprehension strategies.

Better than Khan?
I do think this app is better than Khan Academy for the K-8 students in my school. It is Common Core aligned, provides plenty of practice, is gamified, and has excellent teacher reports and analysis.

Great interactive app to support individualized learning of Common Core Math Standards
I think this is one of the best math apps I have come across. It individualizes learning for the student and has demonstration videos as well. Some of the videos aren't the best, but I like that they are there as a resource. I love how Front Row tracks progress and recommends mentor students in the classroom to students who struggle. The students are motivated to earn coins for completing problems. There is an amazing weekly progress report that shares individual and class improvement! This app helps students fill a lot of learning gaps. Motivation to use the app AND learn how to solve math problems was higher than I have ever seen. For the first time, I had students asking me and other students how to solve a problem. I rarely, if ever, get that type of motivated inquiry with a traditional math problem. This app helps to build independent learners, with a desire to achieve success.

Great activity for Drill and Practice!
As a teaching tool, my opinion about this product is that it can be beneficial for student learning. I like how it judges a student's knowledge based upon practice and then it creates drill and practice for the individual student. I like how each student is able to receive separate practice that meets their individual needs.

Personalize math pratice online, as well as printables
I like this product and plan to continue to use it with my students. It really promotes and sticks with Common Core. This is vital for my school. It could be more kinesthetic and hand on, but it does have some virtual manipulatives. I like that my students can easily show their work. Also, for those ELL students or students who struggle with reading, it can read the questions out loud. Very help with 2nd graders! Lastly, the quick videos to teach and reteach are vital to helping the students understand the problem.
While It is great that it has targeted math practice as printables for students who can't stay on the Ipad the whole time, but I didn't really use it. I have so many other printables for my students it didn't seem worth while.

Gamified, adaptive, and data-drive math app; Great for supplemental practice
I was incredibly impressed with how quickly the program adapted to the needs of individual students. The gamificiation was clear and appropriate and kept my students engaged. It even helped my students who were further ahead of their peers continue to engage in the program because they can skip the sections they demonstrate mastery in. I was also impressed to see that the program will recognize whether each student was able to comprehend something quickly (with ease) or if it took a while to master. Mode of entry was also very diverse: students might have multiple choice questions or freely calculated (entered from a calculator-type entry).

One down side was that much of the app was language heavy and there seemed to be very few simple arithmetic-only questions. Sitting with my lower language students, I had to read much of the problem to them instead of allowing them to maneuver the app on their own. Additionally, there is a list of kindergarten mastery -- I'm interested to see whether kindergarteners can read and comprehend the questions included in the app. This seems to be better geared for grades 3-8.

Common Core Aligned Math Site!
This is a great tool for teachers to customize learning to each students individual level. Students who struggle with reading and/or are ELL students have the opportunity to have the materials read to them. In addition this site shows you how your students are doing, what standard they've mastered and where they need help. It aligns with the common core curriculum and gives the data schools need to show growth and progress.

Individualized Math Practice aligned to CCSS, with Teacher Data Collection
This is a useful resource, especially for school with 1:1 or BYOD availability. In situations where this is not available, a math center could work where students might have iPad access. Digital manipulatives, and differentiation are two of the benefits for this app/ website. It would be helpful to have a search function for teachers, when looking up standards. Presently, they are grouped by domain, but teachers must scroll through the entire list to locate standards.
