This product is fantastic! It is so engaging and fun for my students. I love it as a teacher because I can modify work for all my students. I can assign work that correlates directly to our state standards.
My overall opinion is that is is a fantastic tool to use in the classroom! More than anything my favorite thing was to see the excitement and engagement levels of my students in the area of math. They wanted to play daily, and we did! What was even more great is that I feel that Prodigy really helped to created a stronger relationship between my students and myself. I would battle them on Fridays, and they were so excited to play with their teacher. Prodigy brought such a fun and math loving experience to our classroom this past year. I have also noticed that it excites young students and older students. It has made my teaching better because I can reach out to more students and really differentiate for all of my students and their different learning needs.

Great!
I like the program. I wish there was a way to measure and monitor active engagement while students were logged in, just to monitor that they are on task. Other than that, its a great program!

Addictive and engaging math site
I liked all features of this product, and appreciate how user-friendly it is for students and teachers. I like that both parent and teacher versions are free, and that topics can be assigned depending on the child's needs or growth. It helps reinforce those topics and provides the student ample opportunities for success. I highly recommend Prodigy as part of the classroom resources for all students to use.

My Kids Are Addicted
I love Prodigy and so do my students. I'm pretty sure they would play all day if I let them. Prodigy takes my most reluctant math students and engages them in a way no other program has before. Its best use is as reinforcement for the work we do in class, to use as a quick quiz, or an exit ticket to evaluate what my students are understanding in real time. The reports are indispensable in helping me guide instruction and to bring to SRBI meetings, PPTs, etc. to provide data to support my claims for support services for students or student progress.

Highly Engaging, math challenges that students request to do daily
I personally love Prodigy. I have yet to find a supplemental resource that is this engaging for all students. My students would ask on a daily basis if we were going to have Prodigy time! I saw a lot of growth in math skills we were working on as well as my students' math confidence. Even when they made mistakes, it wasn't the end of the world, it taught them to persevere, use a hint and try again!

Bring on the classroom battles!
I love Prodigy, and already speak to other schools when I consult or present about the benefits of the program. It is easy to set up if your school already uses Google Education accounts, and is easily accessed by students. The fact that there is a paid membership option does not detract from non-membership users' opinion of the game, and many of my students do not have a paid membership. Yet, they all love the program, and I create plans and assessments that link in with the content taught in class for that unit, so I am getting constant formative assessment to inform my teaching practice. It can be used as small group work, it is adaptive, and can really assist with your advanced ability./gifted students. The content is fun, colourful, interactive, and customisable. I have my own "student" account, and battle my students in class (and at home) which they absolutely love. We also have started holding tournaments - where students battle each other until we have a tournament winner! It's so engaging and makes Maths so much more engaging. I definitely suggest all teachers start using this wonderful free resource in their classrooms.
