My Take
I liked all features of this product, and appreciate how user-friendly it is for students and teachers. I like that both parent and teacher versions are free, and that topics can be assigned depending on the child's needs or growth. It helps reinforce those topics and provides the student ample opportunities for success. I highly recommend Prodigy as part of the classroom resources for all students to use.
How I Use It
All of the students enjoyed using Prodigy, and it was great to be able to send home information for use there as well. It was nice to allow the students time to explore on their own, and to use it as follow up to lessons and as an additional resource for struggling students. I appreciate the use of gamification, as it works exceedingly well to motivate our Special Ed and ELL students. The engagement is pretty awesome.
