Love GoNoodle!
GoNoodle is a good tool for a quick active brain break activity. When weather conditions do not allow for outdoor recess, it provides an opportunity for students to get active in the classroom. It can be use through the website or an app. There are videos to appeal to different ages.

GoNoodle is a Mouse Click Away from a much needed Brain Break!
I don't know how I would get through the day without GoNoodle. The variety of videos and how they are based in some sort of educational concept really make them even more useful than just giving students a reason to move around the classroom. The website itself is pretty organized! Whether you are looking for a favorite channel, a certain subject area, or even a specific video that focuses on a certain social skill or strategy, it can be found with ease. It's a great variety and I know that when my students need to move around, I can play something with a more upbeat, energetic vibe. If my students need to relax, I can find a calming, meditative video. The students get really excited when they earn points for the completion of the videos and they can watch their "monster" grow. Once a monster has maxed out on their levels, you can print a completion certificate for the class which another cool feature. Some of the videos are repetitive in nature and can be slightly annoying, but for the most part each video is engaging. I do have to say that not every student enjoys GoNoodle and participating in the brain break videos, so that can be a downfall when you're trying to get students up and moving.

Fun in the Classroom.
Overall, I would recommend this site to fellow educators because it gets the kids up and moving, which in the end will make them more productive in class. I like how I can put on yoga but then I can also put on a harder workout for the kids. It gives both the kids and teachers a mini break so they can refocus and reengage. It could also be used as motivation for getting work completed.

Engaged and Motivated Students
GoNoodle is a teacher's best friend. Before every video, it shows the purpose of the video that you chose. A video called "Counting to 100", tells the students what they'll be working on. It says math, gross motor skills, and workouts. Teachers can choose from numerous categories of videos from curricular (math, social students, ELA, etc.), sensory and motor skills (body awareness, balance, coordination) to movement type (stretch, breathe, competition, partner up). Teachers from all subjects can find a video based on their curriculum to use. If you're a science teacher, teaching about the water cycle, why have the students sit at their desk while you're trying to teach them about water cycles, when GoNoodle has a dance video called "Water Cycle" that students can dance and learn at the same time to support you. This is a great way to get students engaged and motivated to learn. It allows students to be moving, which is exactly what K-5th graders need throughout the day. Oh by the way, don't forget that exercises/moving boosts brain their brain powers!

GoNoodle is good activity for students to get up and move !
I think this is a really awesome classroom tool. I liked that students could get up and move. I liked all the characters and the songs and they are really exciting and engaging. The tool might be improved by adding academic content, but that might take away from its break factor. Overall, the tool is great for classroom engagement, physical activity, but it isn't much of a teaching/academic tool.

This is a great way for students to get moving during the school day because they do not like to sit at their desk all day.

GoNoodle has been my favorite classroom app (TK-4th grade) that motivates the students and refocuses their attention back on their work. Not only is it great to use during rainy day schedules, it is also great for "brain breaks."
I don't believe GoNoodle is just a teaching tool. It does have some teaching components that are great for the students. Some of the videos teach lessons on mindful behavior such as kindness, friendship, and how to appropriately self regulate behavior during times of stress or anger.

I like to Move It, Move It!
I don’t know who loves GoNoodle more: me or my students. GoNoodle is beneficial to any student and/or teacher that likes to move, dance, stretch, relax, refocus, or recharge their brain. I think that it is vital for young learners to have time to do all of these things. I have been using GoNoodle for the past four years because the benefits are real! After GoNoodle videos, my students are more focused, energized, and excited about their learning. They love sharing in these songs and silly dances with their peers. I would love for new videos to be uploaded more frequently to continue keeping the breaks fresh for us.

GoNoodle is a great place to take a brain break!
I love using GoNoodle in my classroom and l am loving the new layout and organization of the website. I do wish they have more YouTube videos (just saw you can add your own) and well as Blazer Fresh and Kid Bop. I love having my students so excited (all year!) to do brain breaks! Since finding GoNoodle is have been a blast using it! My kids also love picking a brain break and it is wonderful to have that as a positive reward for them. It helps me get my students re-focused and ready to learn. I believe having this tool in my room helps me be more successful maintaining their focus. I can tell when many kids are checking out so we stop and will do a quick brain break to get them up and moving.
