Great Online Interactive Graphic Organizers - Especially for Writing!
I have used readwritethink as long as it has been around. I was super excited to see certain interactives have recently been transformed by the International Reading Association into free apps. I am waiting for my favorite interactive - Essay Map - to be made into an app. When I first began using RWT online, there was no way to save products so you had to print or else all was lost. This has been improved online and on the apps as save and email features are now present.

Great Resource to support your Language Arts Program
I really like the tools and resources provided by the ReadWriteThink site. I like how the site is organized so you can quickly find helpful tools to accompany your instructions. There are many resources to use and new to their site are videos to help utilize the site to its potential. The search features on the site are nice as you can search by grade, subject, skill, etc. Overall, I would highly recommend utilizing this site to help support your language arts instruction. There are great lesson ideas, project examples, etc. to help support learners of all ages.

I like that it is founded on best practice. It has a variety of tools/resources. Some of the games are simplistic in terms of aesthetics, but kids like them.

Resources galore!
I like this website because I am able to take what I need and incorporate it into my unit that I am working on at the time. The site has excellent interactive activities that can be used for a variety of purposes (checking for understanding, formative assessment, etc.). My only complaint is that the interactive activities seem more tailored for elementary/middle school. There are such a variety of resources available that it is difficult to summarize in a simple review.

My students use this site weekly to organize their thoughts to respond to questions and publish research information. I do wish it would save to my students drives at school when the finish for the day to be able to open it the next day. It does not save well and the process is not user friendly.

Excellent instructional tool for teachers!
I love the majority of lesson plans on this site. You do have to be careful and pick and choose which lessons work best. Not all are outstanding or applicable to what you're teaching, but overall, this is a great resource for teachers. You can't go wrong when you're using a Read/Write/Think lesson plan!

Fantastic Resource for ELA Teachers!
This website is an unbelievable resource for teachers! If I was forced to choose only one website for ELA resources, this would be it! I do not think I could ever exhaust all of the fabulous quality tools, resources, interactives, and lesson plans available. (And the site is continually adding content!) Additionally, there are professional reading recommendations for each topic. My only criticism is the overwhelming amount of material available...I find myself getting lost for hours! If that is a criticism!
