I am an eighth grade language arts teacher at Milton Middle School, located in Milton, West Virginia. I am originally from a rural area in Kentucky, where my parents still reside. There I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky. After marriage and two children, my family relocated to the Huntington, West Virginia area where I received my Master's degree from Marshall University. Besides teaching, I love to travel, shop for bargains, cook, read, and run the vacuum! My spare time and summers are usually spent in workshops and trainings pertaining to my job.
