Endless engaging possibilities for collaboration or assessment.
Padlet has a lot of possibilities. I spoke of it as a collaborative tool, but could also be used for a "what you already know" board before the class begins the study or as formative assessment as students leave a class. In addition, Padlet could be used as a discussion board for questions about lesson that has been assigned as homework. This would help all prepare for what needs to be clarified the next day. It would be a benefit to all to have student questions driving the next day's discussion. another possibility? Have students ask question about the topic ahead of time so they are already engaged in curiosity about the subject.

A quick and easy way to get all your students to participate!
I think padlet is a great, quick way to have all of your students participate in class. I love how students can work together on the same screen but I wish that it would update automatically when a new post is made. I think this program could better serve teachers and students if there was a way that posts could be organized for a presentation mode so that there is a logical flow of ideas or comments.

Variety of uses in the classroom
Padlet is easy to use in the classroom since you share the link with students. I have also used it at workshops as an ice breaker. There are many uses depending on your content area and need. It is user-friendly for students and offers immediate connection with others. I have suggested this application to new staff when they need more engagement in the classroom as well as an easy assessment tool.

Padlet is a great way to get students interested in a discussion by allowing them to utilize their phones to develop their own thoughts and add onto their peers additional ideas. Students also may use this site to create a presentation.
Padlet works similarly to Google Drive and Thinklink (another great App). Students are able to work either individually or in a small group to present a cohesive project. It works like a bulletin board allowing students to add not only pictures, but also active links, websites, URL's, music, and YouTube videos. Students can overlap text, images, and create an interesting background that creates a well-rounded and aesthetically pleasing project.

A Digital site accessible by a URL where learners can add text, links and other digital content (no login)
Padlet is a versible tool for educators to invite feedback and allow students to demonstrate their learning. Educators can group their 'board by question, heading or allow students or participants to organize their own page. The page can sometimes get quite disorganized when there are lots of posts so moving from the "freeform" view to either "grid" or "stream" helps the post to be read in a linear fashion. Sometimes, I like to have multiple questions or challenges on each page so I prefer the "freeform" as I can deal with a "chaos" in a lesson. It is essential to ask students to use their first name if you wish to use their input for assessment. Overall, Padlet is an excellent site to allow students or learner s to share their ideas and "digital evidence" (links, videos, images etc.) of their learning and experiences.

Online bulletin board magic for the classroom!
Padlet is very simple to use, for both the setup and implementation with students. Our school district uses Schoology, and embedding a Padlet page into Schoology couldn't be easier. It can also be used as a link to share, so access to it is very easy. I love that my students don't have to have accounts to use it, and it's a great way to hold a back channel to have classes share their thinking.
