Padlet is a great way to get students interested in a discussion by allowing them to utilize their phones to develop their own thoughts and add onto their peers additional ideas. Students also may use this site to create a presentation.

My Take
Padlet works similarly to Google Drive and Thinklink (another great App). Students are able to work either individually or in a small group to present a cohesive project. It works like a bulletin board allowing students to add not only pictures, but also active links, websites, URL's, music, and YouTube videos. Students can overlap text, images, and create an interesting background that creates a well-rounded and aesthetically pleasing project.
How I Use It
I use this for both presentations and for discussions ("warm-ups" and "closures"). Padlets allows students to collaboratively work on an assigned research project. Information generates in real time allowing students to input thoughts at any time.
