My Take

Padlet has a lot of possibilities. I spoke of it as a collaborative tool, but could also be used for a "what you already know" board before the class begins the study or as formative assessment as students leave a class. In addition, Padlet could be used as a discussion board for questions about lesson that has been assigned as homework. This would help all prepare for what needs to be clarified the next day. It would be a benefit to all to have student questions driving the next day's discussion. another possibility? Have students ask question about the topic ahead of time so they are already engaged in curiosity about the subject.

How I Use It

Currently, I have been using this in a collaborative project with some 8th graders. We are posting all our information (quotes, images, links) on Padlet I created. One great feature is that is can be quickly accessed from any device using any platform, unlike some other options which are OS specific are have multiple steps to access.
