Recap, review, reinvent, react, refer with Explain Everything
Explain Everything is a useful tool for stimulating thought before a lesson (such as creating a brief presentation with essential questions for students to think about) or for recapping critical information (such as putting together a presentation that reviews the key ideas after a lesson or discussion). It is user-friendly and doesn't require a lot of preparation to use effectively, by either teachers or students. Its simple interface means that the emphasis is on content, not on fancy effects.

Smartboad technology without the cost
Explain Everything is one of the most flexible iPad apps. Developed as a screen casting app, I have found it is so much more. I'm able to utilize Smartboard technology without the cost and make thinking visible by allowing students to create interactive presentations, posters, and mind maps. EE allows me to engage the learner by moving away from the paper-driven work that tends to define traditional classrooms and integrate technology-inspired lessons that allow students to be social — to interact around challenging concepts in powerful conversations with their peers. It's so easy to use and has transformed my teaching. I've become the facilitator as opposed to the authoritative figurehead, thereby effectively communicating information in a relevant manner.

Explain Everything is an excellent tool for both the teacher AND students to share content knowledge.
Explain Everything is exactly what it say, it allows the user to explain information they know or have learned. I started using this app to flip my middle school classroom and found it to be the best tool for creating videos for my students. When trying to push myself above the line in the SAMR model, I realized that students creating their own material and using that to teach others, is a very powerful tool in my classroom.

Great way for students to demonstrate mastery independently
This tool is the best, in my opinion, of the whiteboarding tools. It allows teachers to create whiteboard-based demonstrations and allows students to respond in kind, demonstrating their master of a concept and submitting the finished file to the teacher.

An excellent tool to deliver a digital lesson plan quickly.
I was able to generate an audio/visual lesson plan quickly from an existing non-audible PowerPoint presentation. Embedded additional audio, websites, and videos on the fly. It was easy to mimic my classroom lecture delivery digitally for future classes. This will be a great tool to deliver digital lesson plans for a work at your own pace program such as mine. With students taking classes at different times, different levels as well as various entry times in my program, I will be able to memorialize as well as improve/edit my lesson delivery.

Amazing for making tutorials or getting into student thought
There are several reasons that you want to capture process - modelling to set up an assignment, how to use a tool, how a student understands a tool or process. After creating this capture you might want to distribute it as scaffolding, give feedback to a student on the process or have students give feedback each others process. This tool is great because it allows the capture to be done easily, with lots of markup and media tools and has many ways to distribute the final product. Making the final video can take some time and there is a separate product to speed this up using a computer if you have a lot to do.
