Explain Everything is a handy app for creating quick screencasts or animated annotations.
Explain Everything is versatile--it can be used by students to create an animation or a tutorial or screencast, but it can also be used by teachers for a filpped classroom assignment, a screencast, or an animation of a concept.
How I Use It
I used it to create an animated stick figure video for a presentation on social networking. I also have used it to create a screencast on library databases that are available to students and how to use them. I captured screenshots of each site, imported them into Explain Everything, where I could talk about them, draw on them, and highlight areas students should notice. The teacher could use the screencast for homework, in the classroom when I wasn't able to be there, etc.
