My Take
With the amount of curriculum teachers are required to teach and students are required to master, typing has been dropped. This allows me to have students practice a little at a time when work has been completed or if there are a little extra time at the end of a period.
How I Use It
I use TypingWeb differently with different classes. One class has an extra 20 minutes because of the lunch hour. They practice typing everyday and play the typing games on Fridays as an incentive to work hard. The other classes practice typing when they have completed an activity or project.

Learning how to type properly is an extremely important skill and Typing.com is a great resource for students to learn how to do so. They provide lessons, practice, assessments, and games to cater to all stages of learning, while keeping students engaged through providing interesting stories for them to type and educational games that they can play after learning lessons. Allowing students to set goals and expectations for themselves on the dashboard, which tracks and displays their progress, encourages students to stay consistent, as that is how they improve most efficiently at a skill like typing.

This has the perfect game to help challenge students.
The website does get a little bit laggy. I noticed that the game would freeze and this may cause a delay when I play this with my students.
