Learning how to type properly is an extremely important skill and Typing.com is a great resource for students to learn how to do so. They provide lessons, practice, assessments, and games to cater to all stages of learning, while keeping students engaged through providing interesting stories for them to type and educational games that they can play after learning lessons. Allowing students to set goals and expectations for themselves on the dashboard, which tracks and displays their progress, encourages students to stay consistent, as that is how they improve most efficiently at a skill like typing.

The website does get a little bit laggy. I noticed that the game would freeze and this may cause a delay when I play this with my students.

I think it is a very user-friendly site and makes it very easy for beginners to follow. It has different activities and allows both students and the educators to monitor the progress of each individual and see ways in which they can improve. However, there are limited resources for unpaid access, and ads can be a bit distracting to overall learning. They also have long, unskippable videos which can bore students with shorter attention spans and make it a less engaging site. Paid membership definitely has more features, and would be almost perfect to those willing to pay the fee.
