My Take
I have been using this program for 4 years. I have students from grades 4-8 using this site. I can track their progress from year to year and students can visually see how they have improved over the years.
It is free and I can still get the general reports on my students. Unlike other programs that make you pay if you want the reports.
How I Use It
I use it with grades 4-8. In fourth grade they can get a little frustrated with the tests. Some can not finish in one 40 minute period. But they eventually improve.
I find the lessons very helpful and students can see their improvement.with visual bar graphs.
There is also a connection to typing games. The all time favorite for my students. Nitro Type. Once student complete the set number of courses or a test, they are allowed to play the games. Most of the time they choose NitroType to race against their friends.
They think it is free time, but they are still practicing their keyboarding skills. They just do not realize it.
