My Take
I have been searching for a usable green screen app for well over a year. Everything else I have tried has been cumbersome or inefficient. I needed a way for students to create a quick project using a green screen and this is the tool.
How I Use It
I have a green screen set up in a project room near my classroom in which students record videos and then create a movie. Previously we had been using iMovie but I felt it took up too much time to use, plus my students would get bogged down using other effects on iMovie. I am under a pretty tight time frame with my curriculum so I needed a way students could continue to do fun, creative projects but with a tool that would allow them to finish it quickly. I found this app to do exactly what I need it to do. Students are able to use it immediately after watching the short tutorial video loaded in the app. The final product is perfect for my purposes. There are ways to do more with the app if you have the time. Also, there are tips on what to do if you don't have a "real" green screen so you can achieve similar results on a smaller budget.
