How Can I Teach with This Tool?

Google Cardboard is an app that provides five experiences to introduce teachers and students to virtual reality (VR), as well as a tutorial for setting up a Cardboard viewer with your device. Once your device is set up, students can jump into the experiences: view 3D objects from a museum collection, tour world cities like Paris or Tokyo, fly alongside birds in the Arctic, and more.

Be prepared that some students may experience motion sickness or an overwhelming feeling during viewing. Once you've tried some of the demos provided in the app, go further with apps like Expeditions, Google Earth VR, and Discovery VR. Or if you need more of a challenge, have students create their own VR experiences with tools like CoSpaces EDU and Metaverse.

Great tool!

I think it works great as teaching tool. Its easy to use and affordable. Two of my favorite things. I would highly suggest it for littler ones. However, if you easily get motion sick, I would not suggest partaking in this activity. I liked it other than the motion sickness part! It did what it was created to do and I could not have been more happier with the results. Everyone was completely engaged and had fun using the devices.
