Game-show styled learning
The game is extremely engaging for students and encourages them to practice course content, but can often be easily distracted by the other game features. The actual learning process in the game is rather repetitive, which might lead students to focus their time on making in-game purchases. Additionally, some of the power-ups that students can purchase while playing the game can harm other students, such as 'Freeze', which temporarily pauses other students' ability to answer questions, or 'Blur', which freezes other students' screen, making it difficult for them to focus on the actual educational portion of the game. These power-ups can also be targeted at certain students, which may lead to students collaborating against others, harming their overall learning experience. From my experience in playing the game, it is very engaging and interactive, but can give students too much power, in addition to not always reinforcing the most effective learning.

Best online game for learning so far.
If you are sick of always having to play competitive learning games like Kahoot, or blookit, gimkit is probably your best option. It is great for students to learn teamwork and the games lasts longer. but don't worry. You can always end the game early. It is the most fun learning game so far. And best of all, you can sign up for free!

As far as these tools go, this is by far the worst.
This does seem like an interesting concept, however, this is the worst online interactive testing tool I have seen. One of my students saw a power-up selling for $210 (in-game money), and it would make all items free for 20 seconds. Now, when he bought it, this is what actually happened. He got all his money taken away, discovered it had no effect, and all his upgrades were destroyed. You, as a cruel joke, nearly got this child sent home to his strict parents who grounded him for a B+. But, he would have an F. You douchebags had a silly idea of "what would happen if we scammed children". But instead of making a new game, you decided to implement that into your STUDENT TESTING PROGRAM. You trashy idiots could have gotten that kid starved to death (his parents tried before over a D-, frick you CPS for not caring). This is spectacularly low quality. Do not use this program.

Best interactive classroom game out there . . . currently
I have yet to find any serious flaws with Gimkit. It would be nice if, like Kahoot, you could use the free version, but that's completely not workable (you only get to make 4 question sets and can only edit each one three times), but hey, that's capitalism.
It's pretty amazing that one day some high school kid was sitting through a Kahoot-type game and thought "I could make a better game" and then went and did it! I've developed digital games for my students in the past, and I'm kicking myself hard for not coming up with this first. >:-(

Fresh take on interactive flash cards.
Overall, Gimkit seems to be a lean application focused on quick setup of flashcard games utilizing the game-related features of the site. If you are looking for a fun way to mix up flash card review for students, this works well. If used too often, the novelty would likely wear off and the interactive features would be less appreciated.
