Great online formative assessment tool as a review or for homework
I found an interesting observation by a student. She didn't score as high as the first time, but she noticed she correctly answered more questions, and had fun with it.
I think this is just another available tool very similar to Kahoot!, but with the ability to assign or complete as homework. I like the data that can be downloaded to refer back to and support students individual learning.

Whole Class or Self-Directed Game Based Assessment Tool
This formative assessment tool may be used at the introduction of a unit to determine what skills students already possess, it may be used as an exit ticket at the end of lesson to ascertain how much they comprehended from the day’s lesson and what still needs review or it may be assigned alongside a flipped instruction video at home as reinforcement of the video’s instructional points. In this way, Quizizz’s versatility makes it a powerful tool. However, Quizizz only allows users to create multiple choice style questions and to attach one photo per question which do limit the tool.

Quizizz: Making homework FUN and formative assessment FAST!
Quizizz has been a really nice option to use for engaging students both in and out of the classroom. Because it can be used to assign games for "homework", it offers a great alternative to traditional types of homework assignments and leads to more authentic learning experiences for students. It is easy to get started with Quizizz, either by creating your own game or choosing from the thousands of games available in their public library. You can even pull questions from multiple different Quizizz games and create your own for classroom use. (A warning that you may end up assigning a 90 question game, but students can take a break!)
Sharing games is easy, whether through join codes, links or Google classroom. As for features, one of my favorite aspects is that it is student-paced. When playing "live", students see the questions on their device, rather than needing the Smartboard and for "homework" games, students can start and then continue later, by using the same Join Code and log in name.
For assessment, Quizizz offers great data tracking, enabling teachers to quickly focus on which questions were answered correctly, saving time and enabling teachers to move on with the lesson. Or to focus on those answered incorrectly by looking at the class average, or reviewing each student's response, or question by question. All data reports are saved and can be downloaded or printed, and there is a newer feature which provides the option to send an email directly to parents, from Quizizz, with the student's individual results. A nice feature which makes communicating student progress to parents much easier.
Quizizz continues to add new features to the platform, even adding a new app ZipQuiz, and there are some features that I think would make it even better. Adding images into the responses would be great for students studying culture, for identifying monuments or famous locations, for example. Setting the Quizizz games up for homework is a great option, the amount of time could be extended. And for reviewing, currently review can be done once the game is finished, but the ability to review after each question for ongoing reinforcement of the content would be a nice addition.

Engage, Excite Assess...
Quzizz allows you can create, play and share fun learning games for any subject, for all ages, AND for FREE. Teachers can share content so that they are all not starting from scratch. I would love the ability to create custom screens/messages for the instant feedback piece of Quizizz.

The perfect counterpart to Kahoot!
This is a fantastic resource for teachers to have in their toolbox. It's easy to find a pre-created quiz or make one yourself. As with any tool like this one, its service to the students and your teaching depend on how it's used (a lighthearted game to lift some spirits, for student review, or formative assessment, just to name a few.) Some of my favorite features include the auto-generated avatars, post-quiz data, and the memes at the end of each response - they are really funny!

Fun and engaging whole class multiple choice question review activity for students!
Many teacher may already be familiar with Kahoot, which is very similar. I prefer Quizizz because it gives me more options. If I don't want to reward faster thinkers, I can turn off the timer option. If I don't want kids to see how they rank in the leaderboard because they just learned the material I can turn off that option. Furthermore, the student screen is better for students. With Kahoot students had to see the answer choices on the teacher's screen projected. Quizizz puts the answer choices on the student screens. My students prefer this. They say it is easier for them to play the game without having to look up at the teacher screen and then find the corresponding answer on their screen. Kids also like the memes and the sound effects. Teachers will be happy to learn that they can search for quizzes that have already been created. This can be an incredible time saver for a busy educator. With more tech tools, I feel like the power of the tool comes from how the teacher uses it. This product is only as powerful as the teacher using it. If a teacher doesn't take student thinking beyond these multiple choice questions, this tool becomes merely a fun game. However, if a teacher follows up the Quizizz time with activities that deeper more cognitive power, this tool serves as an excellent review activity.

Fun and engaging tool. Easy to get up and running!
This is a great, quick check-for-understanding tool. However, the questions would need to be pre-populated. Very similar to Kahoot - only the questions are on the individual devices rather than just colors as in Kahoot. It has a lot of very nice features that can be turned on/off.
Your question Great With
Indicate with which populations this produce would ______ GREAT WITH. I believe is missing a be or work???

Engaging game-based student response tool
Quizizz is an engaging formative assessment tool that would be great to use as a prior knowledge check, mid-lesson status report, or exit ticket. Students enjoy the game-based atmosphere, friendly competition, and memes. Engagement in class is quite high. Students are not able to review information at a later time. Additionally, if you are looking for a tool that encourages higher-level thinking skills, this may not be the app for you.
