A blank canvas can be the most challenging - that's why I like thinglink
The biggest strength of thinglink is that it is a blank canvas. Students have no mould to follow, but instead have to figure out how to convey ideas using images, minimal text, and links to other ideas. It makes the end result often very creative. It's not drag and drop like a lot of other vehicles for expression of learning.

Deep learning with interactive images - add dimensions to student research
This is a robust tool with lots of potential in the classroom. It allows for creative, individualized responses and easy access for all types of learners. I like that the tool is intuitive to learn and allows for easy collaboration. Images can be easily embedded in most blogging platform allowing for variety in student journaling or reflection of learning.
Thinglink classroom allows for greater control over who sees images and may 'tag' them which teachers will appreciate.

Link away
My students were excited about using Thinglink. They especially liked connecting GoogleDrawings and then sending their Doc to Thinglink. It was another form of an assessment and showcase what they have learned.

Infographics with interactivity!
Overall, I think Thinglink is an extremely useful resource for the classroom. It definitely adds a certain visual appeal to the communication process. That being said, I wouldn't categorize it as transformative. In most cases where I have used it, I really see it as substituting for another form of communication. (This reflects my engagement with the product...it is quite possible someone else has used this in a revolutionary way). While it adds a dynamic to disseminating information, it comes back to how it is used. I would love to see it embedded in self-published ebooks as an interactive infographic.

ThingLink Ties together various apps, creations, and tools is visually interesting ways
Thinglink is a web tool that allows you to “link” any part of a page to a video, audio, website, etc. Videos can be imbedded directly onto a ThingLink page. Basically, ThingLink creates hot links over any image or webpage that you wish. The fact that ThingLink is versatile and easy learn makes it a potentially useful tool for teachers. The coolness factor is there, because the service will look and fool as “cool” as you can make it. The cost for “Pro” is $100 per year, which can be off putting to individual teachers, unless the teacher uses ThingLink often (too often?). The cost should be borne by the institution if it is going to be used at this level. The way that I use ThingLink easily fits with institutional-level use.

Interactive and NOT just for 6-10!
The thing that I liked the most about Thinglink is that you can share the final product via url or html and post it almost anywhere. I like how easy it was for the third graders to use. It helped reinforce everything that they learned about PDBF in their classroom and apply it in my technology class.

Great Interactive Visual Tool For All Content Areas
My overall opinion is that Thinglink can be a powerful teaching tool, because it allows learners to participate in a more engaging and interactive way to learn. I found that Thinglink can be effectively used as a topic opener or a lesson review for both whole and small group instructional methods. I love the fact that I have many options for using this tool to deliver instruction and engage my students.
As an educator, I feel that it is extremely important that my students are provided with learning opportunities that are enhanced with technology, are meaningful and provide hands-on activities. Students learn best by actively participating in their learning environments and I feel that Thinglink greatly supports and meets the needs of all learners.

ThingLink allows students an organized way to analyze an image, political cartoon, map, etc... by incorporating active links and their own thoughts.
ThingLink was an excellent tool in my opinion because it not only allowed students to learn and utilize a new graphic technology, but that technology was able to advance their own comprehension of the material which is the basis of implementing technology into the classroom.
