Great math practice!
As a first grade teacher, I liked that I could assign my high level kids higher standards and challenge them. I could also assign lower level standards to my struggling kids. Kids progress at their own levels and there are a variety of reports that I use to monitor their progress. Parents can also sign into their child's account. I used the data to form guided math groups, do standards based report cards, and differentiate for my kids.

Great site!!
I think Prodigy is a great tool to use in the classroom. All of my learners have been successful with it. My students who are struggling receive questions that are at their level, while my students who need more of a challenge, receive challenging questions. It's a great tool to use in your classroom for station time, free choice activities, homework, and more. While it may initially look quite "gamey", when you actually see the questions that are being assigned, you can really see how this can help students. I've noticed some huge increases in test scores with my students just from using Prodigy. It also has many built-in ways to motivate students (Wizards of the week, battle with the teacher, tournaments with each other or other classes, etc) that motivate students to log on at home.
Best of all, it's free!!
I cannot see my classroom not having Prodigy in it.

Prodigy is amazing for engaging students and capturing data for math instruction.
Prodigy has really changed how my students view math. I love that I can plan assignments towards standards or pick types of problems. I monitor results in real time to provide one-on-one support as needed. The engagement piece has been amazing. My students actually love math time now. There are only two part that I think needs to be improved. The wait time when battling another students. I usually give some sort of handout or writing assignment to do during their wait time. Another way around it is to have students only battle monsters unless it is earned free time. There is no wait time during monster battles. The second thing that could be improved is the ability to monitor what students are doing on their own learning path like we can when they are working on a planned assignment.

Great motivational tool for students!
I love that I can assign content that goes along with what we are learning in math. I can create assignments or test prep aligned to our state standards and hand-pick the types of questions I want them to practice.

As a teacher, I love how supportive Prodigy is. It truly helps me so much as a teacher because it is extremely user friendly. I feel really efficient using Prodigy because I can quickly look at data and plan certain skills for my students. I also love that I can easily align it to Common Cores Standards. I highly recommend Prodigy to any teacher!
