Fun way to learn about grammar

Students would definitely enjoy this and prefer it to the dry gramma workbook approach. The videos are interesting and helps the kids learn the content. But again, you'd have to purchase the entire app to have access to everything.

Cute Approach to Grammar

I really like this website. Grammar is such a dull topic that and the videos and characters make it more engaging. It was especially beneficial for my ELLs and IEP kids. They consistently scored 90% or higher on the quizzes attached to the lessons. I also like that it starts with the basic parts of speech but breaks it down into more complex ideas. Nouns, for example, include common, proper, concrete and abstract nouns. It also includes prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections.

Catchy and fun way for students to practice grammar.

This app is great to have in class to practice skills that need strengthened. The app is versatile enough that parents are able to use with their children. Various features include mini movies, music videos, lessons, and games. Student engagement remains high with the fun graphics and music. Independent practice for students on something as boring as grammar is much more fun and engaging with this app.

Grammaropolis offers a great way for students to practice using all the major parts of speech and includes general information about the part of speech as well as videos and practice through games.

Teaching grammar can be somewhat boring and hard to engage students in the learning and practice process, Grammaropolis was engaging, fun and taught the grammar skills that students need to know. The level of content was appropriate for all grade levels and can be used for whole classes at the younger grades and independently at the upper grades. Having information presented in the narrative form as well as through videos provided content differentiation and a fun way to engage all students. As usual, the fun can be cut short due to membership requirements. The price for a forever, unlimited membership was decent and a pretty good deal as it could be used from year to year. If I were looking for one good paid resource to teach grammar, this one would be in the running. I liked the content presentation. videos, games and quizzes, but not sure why the coloring sheets were included. Students can use the tools on this site independently or in small groups and have fun while learning. It included in depth content on all the major parts of speech and could easily complement any grammar lessons. The games were challenging and kept students on their toes as the words dropped down and they had to quickly place the part of speech under the correct label. Nice site to practice your parts of speech.

Great app for teaching Grammar fundamentals for ELLs

I truly enjoyed the liveliness of this app. It was pretty simple for my students to navigate even though most of them have not used a lot of technology. Many times they requested to play the different games on the app. This can definitely be used to reinforce concepts and solidify grammar rules.

This website is great way to reinforce the learning of Language Arts in the classroom.

I am a bilingual 4th grade teacher and this website has engaged my students through the learning process. Part of the curriculum in 4th grade is teaching writing. My students have become better writers because they understand grammar a little more now. I have really enjoyed Grammaropolis. Teaching Language Arts is not easy, but with the help of this amazing site my 4th grade bilingual students are engaged and were able to understand and succeed in grammar.

Cute app for younger students

I work with special needs students on an individual basis. I find this app very good to teach and reinforce grammar skills. The students I work with like the cartoon type characters they interact with on the app. They especially like the songs and short videos that accompany the lessons.
