Professionally, I am a middle/high school English teacher at a rural district in upstate New York who is trying to redefine education and my role in the brick-and-mortar classroom. As such, I'm searching for ways to engage 21st century students to become positive thinkers and creative problem solvers; individuals who see the intrinsic benefits of learning and reach toward becoming his/her best self – cognitively, spiritually, emotionally, physically, and socially. I have 9 years of teaching experience (but can't understand where the time has gone).

Personally, I am the husband of a wonderful, beautiful and encouraging wife, and the proud father of three inspiring children. My family provides me with the motivation and inspiration to shape a better future.
