I love throwing in one of the Gonoodles in between a song that we sing as a class to get the kids up and moving. There are a lot of varying types of movement (dancing, stretching, etc.) so all kids can and do participate. Best of all, its free!

Great for Indoor Recess or Wiggle Breaks
Older grades (sixth and up) thought this product was too "kiddish" for them, but the elementary grades loved it. I loved the variety of activities, the time length variations, and the exercise that my students were able to get in a relatively small amount of time.

I like the fact that there is a variety of videos for you to choose from that varies from Zumba, various dances, cool-downs and it also helps learners learn to follow directions by listening and watching. One stop shop for free brain breaks, paid plus service offers more core-alligned physical activities.
GoNoodle has been a great addition to my classroom. They offer a wonderful variety of brain breaks for free. The paid subscription for GoNoodle Plus offers more activities that are core-alligned. If I was a classroom teacher, I think I would find more use for these videos and would be a nice addition to the curriculum. The team at GoNoodle is very easy to get a hold of and are always looking for feedback from teachers. They add new content frequently and make changes to old content based on the feedback they have received. Overall, I would strongly recommend GoNoodle to teachers. Their brain breaks offer a great variety of activities in one neatly organized location.

Great for a Brain Break
My students love this. They know when it is time for a brain break and they always ask for Zumba. It gets them moving and encourages them to be healthy. It also teaches them the proper stretches to do before they exercise. It has young instructors and music the kids know and love. I also think that it is great that the do not win the race. Each time they do it they try harder because they come in third place. This keeps them motivated, which is great. They start each race saying we can do better than last time, but it always allows them to celebrate third place. It teaches them it is fine to not win, but you should always try your best.

Great for Brain Breaks!
This is a great resource for a teaching tool. I like that it is fun, engaging, user friendly, and quick to do. It helps students refocus after they have been engaging cognitive tasks for lengthy periods of time. The downside is that a few of the videos are not available for play because of they way they are linked to youtube. Other than that, it is very easy to use, and the students love it.

Great Site for Quick & Fun Body Breaks
GoNoodle was developed with a busy educator in mind! Once you create a classroom account, it is so easy to navigate through the activities and videos. My students love that they can choose a class mascot that grows and develops as we track our progress in the activities.
The website's collection of popular brain breaks (Zumba Kids, Koo Koo Kangaroo, Kids Pop, and many more) saves me time of searching through a variety of sites for body and brain breaks for my class.
