Fun way to get feedback from a group!
This website was very easy to use. I didn't even have to set up an account to host a "wall" for others to comment on. There are layout and background options, as well as levels of privacy that can be set. The wall can be exported as an image, pdf, or excel file, but also embedded into a webpage or converted to a QR code. Definitely possibilities there. If you choose to create a free account, you can be notified when a new post is added to your wall and make changes to your wall beyond 24 hours (without logging in, you can only modify your wall for 24 hours). I loved that the participants did not have to create accounts and that they could navigate to the website and post their thoughts by adding text, images, links, and files (up to 25 MB). Kids will love this tool and with it teachers will hear from students who would not speak up in the classroom.

Padlet is a quick and easy tool for teachers to incorporate at all grade levels.
Padlet is an open ended web tool. Teachers and students can use Padlet in a variety of ways. It is a great tool for quick formative assessments, brainstorming, research, classroom assignments, collaborative writing and more. I like that Padlet is quick to setup and use and even young students can post easily. There is no log in required for teachers and students which is a big plus, especially for younger students. I also like that Padlet allows you to add files from your computer, web links and webcam pictures to your wall posts.

Our teachers and students love using this app for responding and showcasing the learning in their classrooms.
Everyone loves the ease of creating and displaying content. Even teachers who aren't as tech savvy have started using it once they are shown how quickly it can be set up and students can post to a padlet wall.

Great tool - Not great on the iPad!
Padlet is a super easy to use tool that can be used individually or collaboratively. However, although Padlet is advertised as a iPad friendly tool, it works MUCH better on a desktop or laptop. (I have been told they are working on an iPad app). students can post text, images and links to videos and websites creating interactive, virtual posters.

Quick to set up, to view, and to respond while engaging and interactive.
Quick and easy to use as an entrance or exit slip to assess student knowledge or understanding of a topic. Great for collaboration. My only wish is that there was a way for students not to be able to see everyone's responses at first, that would allow for more free thoughts. I appreciate that it is very user friendly and is customizable so I can add my own photos or topics.

Extremely easy to use, endless possibilities for learning
This is a great teaching tool! I like that it is so easy to use. An account is needed only to create walls, anyone can view and add to walls (with proper privacy settings). I like that pictures, videos, links, and text can all be added, and that content can be credited or anonymous based on the user's preference. Walls can be private, hidden with link, or public. Custom backgrounds, icons, and even URLs can be added. A QR code is also provided for each wall. There are so many ways Padlet can be used, the limits are only in the user's creativity.

User friendly, interactive way to hold virtual discussions and seminars.
Padlet allowed me to have virtual discussions with my entire class of thirty six students. I was able to easily post discussion questions that students could respond to. My students were also able to respond to their peers and further their thinking. My students really enjoy using Padlet and often ask when we will be using it again. My only issue was trying to move around the comments so that they didn't overlap other comments. I think if I would have used a smaller group of students or created more "walls," I wouldn't have had this issue.

Its basically a free form note taking site. It allows you to put pictures and web links on those notes.

Everyone has a chance to present and defend an idea.
I like the idea of students being able to "discuss" grammar concepts and answer one another in this way because all the student entries have equal weight. The loud student can't dominate the course of the discussion any more than a very reticent student. The typing is slow and delayed. That is a negative. Overall, it is a good discussion tool.
