I am a technology specialist at Hempfield School District. I’ve been working with teachers and technology for over 25 years. It’s impossible to describe my job, as it is ever-changing. Suffice it to say, that first and foremost I still consider myself to be a teacher. Technology is merely a tool with which to teach students. It is my role to assist teachers in using this tool and to help them see how it will benefit the students in their classroom.

My bachelor’s degree is in Elementary Education and I have a master’s degree in Instructional Design and Development.
