My Take

Padlet is a super easy to use tool that can be used individually or collaboratively. However, although Padlet is advertised as a iPad friendly tool, it works MUCH better on a desktop or laptop. (I have been told they are working on an iPad app). students can post text, images and links to videos and websites creating interactive, virtual posters.

How I Use It

I have used Padlet as a way for students to create digital posters. Each student created an individual board on a topic and then shred their board via Padlet generated QR codes on a bulletin board. We have also used Padlet as a collaborative tool, posing a question and having students post answers or opinions or using it to introduce participants in a class or lab.
