I think students would love to be able to play this game if they finished their work early or had moments of free time throughout the day. by having resources such as Stack the States, teachers can make sure every moment at school is utilized to the fullest!Continue reading

Engineering and geography skills all in one
This is one of my favorite states/capitals apps. it allows my student a visual representation of where the states and capitals are in a fun and engaging way so seems current to them. This relevance is important to our students and gives credibility to what I am introducing them to in the classroom. That being said, do not expect any depth from this app. You will need to provide the deeper knowledge, but the app takes care front loading for you.Continue reading

Learn the states, Stack them up, Watch them topple!
This app is great for students to learn some of the basic information about the 50 states. The game keeps students interested in learning the different facts by making it interactive and having the challenge of stacking odd shapes to reach a goal. One thing it could improve from is having the ability to add other facts to the lists of questions. This would improve how it could be used as an educational tool.Continue reading

Learn the states app style!
I would recommend this app to help support your students/child’s learning. It offers fun graphics, unique questions and a variety of ways to learn about the states. I like how students can pick how they learn whether it be using the flash card portion or by answering the questions. I let my daughter play with the program and she loved it. She laughed at the graphics and became very excited when she moved levels. Overall this is a great tool for the classroom and home.Continue reading
