My name is Erika Ryder and I teach special Education at Barboursville Middle School. I have been teaching at BMS for 13 years. I co-teach with the 8th grade math and language arts teachers, as well as teaching a self contained reading and math class. I have 3 children of my own that attend Village of Barboursville Elementary. I chose teaching as my profession because I love working with children and I love the flexible scheduling so that I have more time with my kids. Working in the middle school is the best fit for me because of my sarcastic attitude.
