I think it is a great teaching tool. Setup is easy, and it literally takes seconds to teach the app. Students of all ages can learn this tool. Any Lesson can be adapted to incorporate this tool.

I have not purchased the upgrades, but once I get fully 1-to-1 in my classroom I think I may get an individual license to support my ELL students with step-by-step reviews/intros to skills that I've recorded myself.

This was a MUST HAVE app until the last few months. It just went to a paid service. As a classroom teacher, this might be one of the services I would pay for, but the yearly subscription will be costly ($99 currently). Still, Educreations is easy to use, students enjoy it, and awesome for students/parents to review lessons. Overall a very useful tool if teachers are willing to pay the new annual subscription fees.

I'm a huge fan of Educreations. I think the app has great features and can be used in any content area. I haven't used it in any other way outside of a centers type activity, but I think it would work great in Math for students to describe how to solve a particular math problem and students can use the app to teach each other. It's highly engaging and different than the basic paper/pencil way of doing things.

I think this is must have app for anyone wanting to reach the needs of all their students in a Writers' Workshop. I love that the app is rather simple in that students are only using limited drawing tools and the audio recording. With ease students can take a photo of the graphic organizer or other planing tool presented in a focus lesson and then fill it out with illustrations and audio recording. Overall, it is a great product for students and teachers!

Overall I think this is a great utility style application. I like how easy it is to start with and features, such as the ability to create screen recordings. I think it is a really great application for a teacher who wants to flip their classroom or record their lessons for students to revisit.

Because this app is so versatile, I honestly believe this tool's pedagogy and engagement lie with how the teacher chooses to use it in their classroom. With that said, teachers have the ability to start small and in a comfortable place and then have the opportunity to branch out and make it more engaging, enhancing and deepening student learning.

Students loved how easy it was to upload pictures from their camera role or take a picture and add their own voice. They found it frustrating that their work did not save and many times had to start completely over.

Great product that allows for multiple activities at any age.
