I have been teaching 13 years, majority of which has been in 7th grade in Tracy, California. Since becoming a TC with the Great Valley Writing Project four years ago, I have been teaching only English. I love working with 7th graders, especially because I get to see so many grow tremendously as readers and writers.

My work with the writing project has been the single greatest factor in my growth as a teacher the last four years. Since becoming a TC is 2010, I've been fortunate to work with so many great teachers across San Joaquin County. I love working and collaborating with other teachers and truly love my job.
