My Take
Wolfram Alpha is a great website and app for the science student to use when they need help with a particular calculation or need to research information on a topic with lots of data. The thing I like best is that it allows students to see all the work behind a solved problem in a step by step manner and provides more data than anywhere else when doing a search for information.
How I Use It
There are two ways I use wolfram alpha. The first is for students who get stuck on a problem at home to have a resource to get the correct answer with all of the steps so that they can see the work required. It is also very useful when students need to learn more on a topic because of the data and equations that are provided in topic searches.
