Collaboration and peer evaluation tool that is snazzy when done.

My Take

Students love the ability to reflect and get peer comments about their work. It is not cheap, so I would love to see a free education version in the near future. My students and I also struggled a bit with creating inside VoiceThread, so we ended up using powerpoint and posting it afterward.

How I Use It

I bought access to this program for low literacy students to create a project following the research report guidelines of the rest of the 8th grade. It doesn't teach, but it allows integration of student thinking and technology tools, which is always a great motivator for school strugglers. The POWER is in the feedback. We had peers, paraprofessionals, and special ed. teachers ask questions and leave specific comments. Awesome.
