My Take

Students are able to respond by text, voice, drawing, or video. This can allow for differentiation in responses, allow for discussion between students, and have them use their creativity.

How I Use It

I use this tool in place of traditional lecture and discussion. Students can click on tiles with pictures, videos, and primary documents. They can then respond to a discussion question for each tile.

Students can also use VoiceThread to present information to their classmates. This tool allow them to bring evidence to support a claim and narrate each document with their analysis.
