My Take

TimeToast is fairly easy to use but at the expense of not being able to upload video or links to video sharing sites, i.e. YouTube. Not being able to create a timespan before 0 AD is also a problem for those of us who teach Ancient History. I can live without video, but not recording history before 0 is a big issue.

How I Use It

Students use TimeToast to identify major events during a unit of study. It helps summarize the information and provide a visual representation of the chronological order of events. And, students can go home and share with family and friends the timeline they created in class, providing they have access to the Internet.
