My Take

Students are drawn into this game, and ask to play repeatedly. I love that the gamification of geometry has increased student vocabulary and is teaching them without them really even knowing it. They're connecting bad guys, with hilarious mustaches, and hearing "strait line" or "open shape" over and over again. The adaptive ability of The Land of Venn is also incredible. The game actually adjusts to your student's speed and ability level. Highly reccomended for engagin, interacitve geometry lessons.

How I Use It

This engaging, and adaptive app, is an excellent tool for both teaching and practicing geometry. It would work great as a hook into geometry, and is an excellent way to introduce / practice vocabulary. Students can play by themselves or work in small teams. This game makes a great math station, and allows more than one user per iPad, which makes it very easy to track progress.
