My Take

I love the way kids think I gave them a regular game on their iPads, when I didn't. They think The Land of Venn is the best thing since sliced bread, and will argue for more time to learn.

How I Use It

After introducing a geometry unit by talking about terms, I gave students time on the game with the specific objective of being able to describe some shapes to me. They were able to tell me about points, lines, and open shapes after 30 minutes with the game. More shapes are learned as the game progresses.
