This review is also for Puppet Pals 2: All Access, but the free version is just as fun!

My Take

I really liked both versions of this app. The paid version was definitely worth the upgrade and it is also available in the Apple VPP program. I would recommend more tutorials to show how to make more specific edits. The export options are ideal as well for when students finished their videos and needed to share them with the teacher (myself).

How I Use It

Our 8th graders used the free version and Puppet Pals 2: All Access version to create stories for their reading buddies. It was really fun and creative to be able to take pictures, and then use the "scissors" to directly cut around the faces/objects to use in the story. The 8th graders then shared their stories with their kindergarten reading buddies. The kindergarteners LOVED seeing themselves in the stories as cowboys, princesses, etc.
