My Take

I use notability on daily basis with my students. One of the biggest pluses is that students can write on and annotate PDFs. Students take can take notes in a variety of formats--written (typed and handwritten), photos, and drawings. It did take my students a few uses to figure out their favorite way to take notes (zoomed in, space for wrist to set, types, hand-written) but now they all take notes in a way that suits them.

How I Use It

Students take notes on topics we are studying. They also use it to complete assignments electronically so that I don't need to print out copies of work and texts. I put texts and questions (usually as PDFs) in a shared Dropbox folder, students download the file into notability, complete the assignment (reading, highlighting, and answering questions on the PDF), and then upload the document back into the Dropbox folder (and of course, renaming the document).
