My Take

Doceri provides a great way to facilitate instruction. It's intuitive to use, so there's not much of a learning curve to get started. If you're looking for an easy way to provide more flow to your instruction and classroom management, you might consider using Doceri.

How I Use It

Primarily, I use Doceri to "write" on my computer screen, which is outputted through a projector viewable by my students. I also have the ability to archive instruction, so students can have access to what I wrote at a future date should the need arise.

Doceri provides the opportunity to control my computer remotely (as long as I'm on the same wifi network). When students are using their "clickers," I can monitor their progress while walking around the classroom. It's also been very useful to start and stop music remotely. So, in addition to being an interactive writing device, using this app affords the opportunity to be more mobile and accessible to students.
