My Take

Doceri is a wonderful teaching tool. Gone are the days that I buy the expensive poster paper so student can rewrite their problems in large print so the whole class can see it. I have my students work in groups or 2 or 3 and display their problem up on the teacher screen while they explain how they solved it.

How I Use It

I use Doceri as an interactive whiteboard to create lessons for blended learning. It has several useful drawing tools and backgrounds as well as the ability to import or use the camera to take pictures to use as a background. I can record my voice as I solve math problems so my students can listen and watch on their iPads as many times as they need. It allows me to share via Google Classroom, Padlet, SeeSaw, OneNote, etc. or save the video to my iPad. I also have students use it for the same purpose so they can explain how they solve math problems. The only negative I noticed was a small watermark in the lower right corner.
