Best LMS for the money!
Google continues to listen to feedback from educators, and the improvements from the first edition to the current edition are proof. As an educator, you are limited on Google Classroom by your own creativity and time limitations. There are opportunities to differentiate and personalize learning, extend the conversation, and incorporate other apps into your teaching, all under one roof. The new flow is making it easier for students to focus, as the former versions placed all announcements and assignments on one page, like a social media stream, making it difficult for some learners to focus on what they need to do, especially if you use it prolifically. While it won't interface with your schools SIS gradebook, from the "free" platforms, there's nothing better at this point.

My "Go to" Teaching Tool
I cannot speak highly enough about this tool. It provides a central hub for all class resources and facilitates communication between myself and my students. I particularly enjoy the "Question" feature where students can post responses to a prompt and reply to one another. This creates a new way for students to collaborate in a forum that I can monitor. Though I did not utilize this feature, Google Classroom allows parents to have access to class material as well. This could be great for younger students who are still refining their organization and study skills as well as allow parents to be more involved in their child's learning. Google Classroom allows me to compile all types of resources together in one place and provides avenues for my students to think critically about and explore those resources further. This tool has changed the way I am able to teach my courses and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Useful, but not user-friendly
The variety of assignments you can create and assign are excellent, and the different ways in which it can be utilized are endless. Unfortunately, the user interface is highly confusing, and there's little in the way of tutorial offered in order to help you understand what to click and when.

Great concept but could use some teacher input to improve.
This is a fantastic way to have lessons, resources, notices all available in the same area and ensures that students can revisit work set whether at school or elsewhere (the app is a bonus with our tech savvy students these days). While Google Classroom is excellent for a high school setting where all students do the same activities, it can be a little more tedious when used in a primary school setting. There seems to be no way to make preset groupings within the classroom without individually selecting each student every task you give to the group.
The feature I have particularly enjoyed is having online resources available to students at anytime, it means my students know exactly where to look for their work and to find out what to do next. It has also been handy, as we are moving more towards a paperless classroom, providing students the ability to instantly make a copy of an item and hand it in all in the same area.
Although Google Classroom has some shortfalls it has the ability to improve and is currently providing an excellent online platform for teachers to communicate with students.

Great for ICT classes.
Google Classrooms is a great tool when you have many classes and you want to have a paper-free classroom. I find it really useful to organise the different activities we do; it is very intuitive for students, even for the small ones in grade 1.
One important aspect is that it allows the teacher to assign the tasks to the whole class or individual students, which is great for doing group work, and to differentiate.
In our school, we have the email app disabled, as well several other Google products, because they will not be used in our classes. This is something to consider when setting up their accounts.
I find that dealing with the login process can be quite challenging for younger kids, especially if the name of the school is really long. This is something that needs to be considered when planning, as it can take a long time. If they always use Chrome on the same device, and you have 10 classes or less, their username can be saved and appeared on the list when they click Sign in. But, in my case, as I teach more classes than that, it did not work. To solve this problem, I had to set up another tool (Clever) so that students can use QR codes to login easily.
All in all, using Google Classrooms has been really useful in my classes, it has enriched them, and make things easier to organize, grade, and assign.

Great tool to use to organize your assignments online
This app has kept me very organized and very productive in my work. I have been able to keep track of due dates and what Assignments I handed out. The one thing I have a complaint about is that it’s not always available to everyone. Some kids don’t have access to an electronic device to render them a part of the group and to get the assignment done. Unless the whole class has a way of everyone using an electronic device, then it won’t work for everyone.

Great Product but could be refined.
This product is awesome but could be improved. I find it tedious to be 100% Google Classroom because I have to submit assignments separately from the Agenda, which is under Announcements. I wish there's a way to hyerlink it (assignments) all to one announcement. I think I might have to go old school and bring out the binder to my students can sort their work.

Great way to integrate technology and engage students in learning!
I enjoy using Google Classroom to integrate technology into learning. Referring to the SAMR model, I believe that Google Classroom falls under the Modification section because essentially the classroom is being transformed from traditional to modern. Assignments can be completed online and collaboration can be achieved by students using Google Classroom. I like that I can share assignments and other resources with my students and their parents. It is also a great way to organize files and assignments for the various subjects and classes that I teach. If I want to share a document with my students, I can easily do so with one click via Google Classroom instead of sending individual emails to my students or their parents. It also makes differentiation a breeze because I can share specific documents or files with all students, a few students, or one student depending on their academic needs. If a student’s assignment needs to be modified, I can do so in Google Docs to then share it with the individual student on Google Classroom. Students can collaborate with each other on Google Classroom; if I post an announcement or an assignment, students can comment on the posting and have discussions with each other on the given topic. I like how parents can be informed as to what is going on in each subject area. They can also view pictures that I upload to see what students are doing in class. Overall, I think that Google Classroom is a great tool to use with twenty-first century learners as it integrates technology with content.

Amazingly simple, organized, and streamlined app perfect for all ages! I use this app every single day! I am able to quickly send links to websites, videos, apps, assignments, and announcements to my students with one ciick of the button.
I absolutely love Google Classroom as a classroom management tool. It makes students turning in digital content so smooth, easy to find, organized and easy to track. As a teaching tool, I can share specific resources with all students, some students, or one student so differentiating is a breeze. It helps me to keep all of the assignments in one nice and neat pre-made folder for each class that I teach or take. It helps serve teaching better because I don't have to write a website or link on the chalkboard and have my first graders attempt to type it in perfectly to share a quick website or video. For sharing google docs, slides or other products, I don't have to type in the name of every single student in my classroom to share it with them, I can change the sharing permission easily for all students who have joined the Google Classroom. The only thing that they might could possibly improve upon is the organization of the posts within the stream. Sometimes it is hard for students to find posts because they look really similar and they have to scroll pretty far, there's not really a search feature although I do like the new topics option.
