Amazing for Student Reflection-Encourage the Growth Mindset!
This app is one of my go-to apps for teaching and learning. It is simple in it's theory and design, but extremely pedagogically robust. The ability for students to collect their work (both written--they can upload it) and digital, record their voice reflecting on it and being able to share this reflection is so powerful! It works fairly well with a number of other programs, though this could be a bit more seamless. Feedback is authentic--their audience can be parents, teachers and peers.

Excellent Tool for Creating Digital Portfolios
I think this is a fantastic tool to use in the classroom. Seesaw solves the issue of, "My students made this incredible thing on the iPad/Chromebook/etc, how do I view it/evaluate it/share it with parents?" With Seesaw teachers can have students create incredible projects using other apps and submit their work to one place for the teacher to check and review. Teachers can also comment on student work and help them understand problems they may need to overcome in their learning.
Seesaw works wonderfully in a shared iPad environment, where students are using iPads that are shared within the classroom or with other classrooms in the building. Teachers no longer have to search and find a students project on an iPad in a set of 20+.
When using Seesaw the hardest part is setting up the classroom and settings, and even this is not very difficult. I would estimate that even the most non-tech savvy teachers could have their classrooms up and running with all the settings within 15 minutes. Allowing parent access is easy once you have your classroom set up.
The Seesaw help center is incredible and also very responsive to any questions you may have. Overall I am very impressed with this app and highly recommend it to any teachers that are using iPads/andriod/chromebook and want quick access to student work.

Great digital journal for learners of all ages
Seesaw allows students to be creative, reflective learners. Students were able to see the value in their learning as they shared it with the adults in their lives. Kindergarteners also enjoyed reviewing their journals and talking with others about the work they had accomplished. I feel Seesaw is a useful tool to increase student ownership of their learning. I did not use the feature of giving student feed back, but plan to do so next year.

Create easy elementary student portfolios with Seesaw!
This is a fantastic tool! The QR code makes it very easy for students to enter their own work into their own folder. However, it can be easy for kids to accidentally import their work into the wrong child's folder. It could be improved by some equally easy, but more private, sign in steps.

Easy Tool for K-3 ePortfolio
I really enjoy the ease of use. Yes the setup took some time as you have to type in each student's name, but it isn't that bad. Once that is done you are up and running. I love that students can narrate and annotate over their portfolio pieces. I also love that this allows students to reflect on their work.
