I am indeed fortunate to have found a home as a 4th grade teacher at Copper Mesa Elementary. Prior to coming to CME, I was a technology teacher and digital learning coach Before that, I spent 5 years as a learning specialist at Eagle Ridge Elementary in Douglas County, and 8 years before that teaching in a private school. Throughout my 19 years as an educator, I have always had an interest and a passion for technology integration, and it is so exciting to be able to share this passion with teachers and especially with kids!

I am, at the core, a life-long learner and am always seeking out new ideas.

In addition to my "day job", I teach a number of courses for my districts Center for Professional Development, am a SMART certified trainer/consultant and serve on both the state and national leadership teams for the Discovery Educator's Network. I also learn something new every day from my favorite 21st Century learner--my 3rd grade son.
