Impressive Learning Managment System for the Online & Blended Classroom
Overall, this is probably the best LMS I've used. It's very easy to use and scales nicely for K-12. Having apps available for both iOS & Android in addition to the web version makes it a very flexible tool, especially for classrooms with mixed devices. Being able to differentiate for student groups is a great feature, and the different ways students can interact digitally is powerful. The teachers I've worked with love it -- it's extremely intuitive, so you don't need a ton of PD to get started. The paid version has more features (obviously), but the free version has plenty of great stuff for the teacher who wants to explore blended, flipped, or online learning.

Great Tool for Distributing Lessons and Assignments Electronically
Overall Schoology is a great Educational Tool. It really serves students by being a way to connect school and home using technology. Students are no longer bound to carrying a backpack full of books to class or to home. Everything can be available to them using Schoology. I highly recommend it.

One of the most powerful Learning Management Systems out there. It helps teachers focus on the most important aspect: guide students to higher levels of learning!
I couldn't recommend Schoology enough, as it makes up a robust platform for managing all possible aspects of the learning and teaching process. The features are exactly what a teacher might hope for it he/she is planning on undertaking a 1:1 initiative, or simply blending instruction.

Learning Management System = Learning Made Simple
Last year I was using another popular LMS but found that my students treated it like Facebook. This school year I switched to Schoology and have found that the interface and the assignment feed are easier to manage and sort through. Students treat Schoology as a course and not another form of social media. They respond appropriately and use it as a resource for their learning. Building on-line quizzes take time, but students respond well to receiving the instant feedback. As an ELA teacher, I find the assignment feature and uploading from Google Drive seamless. I've been able to leave feedback and not feel overwhelmed reading 100 essays submitted in Schoology. The hardest feature of Schoology is learning and discovering all of the bells and whistles it offers. I would recommend using Schoology with a team of teachers or a colleague. It's much easier to bounce ideas off of each other as you tinker with its features. Once you maneuver through the first weeks of Schoology you won't turn back. I left everything I created on my old LMS and have had no regrets. Schoology is ideal if your looking to go paperless as well.
