Great differentiation during distance learning
This is a great program, but it does require some support for the little ones, as well as some training for the adults working with them. If they get too much help, then it gets too hard for them. If they don't have enough help, then they can't figure out how to operate the program (which buttons to click, how to record their videos, etc.). But once everyone is used to using it, it is a great differentiation tool. I also love that I get notifications if students are struggling on a standard so I can follow up with a small group lesson and assign that standard to them again. The weekly reports have been invaluable during our foray into distance learning.

eSpark is a great interactive teaching tool used to differeniate instruction and engage learners!
My students thoroughly enjoyed using eSpark daily during our literacy and math stations. eSpark is easy to access for young elementary students (login). I also like many aspects of the app including the simple use of the graphics (math and literacy images), a tutorial for using an iPad/eSpark, quizzes at the end of each quest to test student's knowledge/understanding and the ability to differentiate the learning goals for each of my students using the teacher dashboard.
If there was only a way to lock all the other apps except for the ones that eSpark is instructing to play would be beneficial to eliminate students playing other games because they simply look fun. Also, I'd suggest to enhance the quizzes to be read by a human voice instead of a robotic voice would help students with comprehension when completing a reading passage. Quiz graphics could improve by adding colorful and animated images so students are excited and engage about completing their quest.

Overall, it is an excellent resource. Long term success is the only question mark. Time will tell.
We are still very early in the game, but all indications so far point to eSpark as a valuable tool. I like the individuality and differentiation the most. Results are "black and white", and considering all of the extenuating circumstances of a special needs student, this is priceless. I like that I can focus better on specific skill deficits. I am anxious to see long term results.

Espark was a dynamic part of our co-teaching Language Arts program!
I love espark as a teaching tool. It took the hunting for apps of my already crowded plate. I was confident that what the kids were exposed to on espark helped their learning and was safe and appropriate for my students. The teacher dashboard gave insight into their learning so I could make appropriate adjustments to their learning objectives!

Perfect program for implementing personalized learning!
I've used eSpark for 3 years in my classroom and I love it! It allows ALL of my students to get the attention and practice they need with their own individual areas of weakness or strength based on NWEA scores. Even though students are exposed to the CCSS they need to be successful in 4th grade, I've also had students working on 2nd grade through 6th grade skills in one room, at the same time. Students work at their own pace and aren't ashamed of their current learning levels because it's private. They remain engaged because they are successful at their own levels. I would never be able to accomplish this alone. eSpark allows me to reach multiple levels of learning at one time. My students' test scores, classroom discussions, and higher-order thinking have been positively influenced by eSpark. As a company, they are extremely helpful and open to suggestions and improvements and always value teachers' opinions and insights. This program was definitely created and continues to improve with teachers and students in mind.

Absolutely Amazing!!
My opinion about eSpark is that it is an amazing program and all children should have access to it. Our class grew more then a full year in math using the program. By the end of the year, our children were learning multiplication and understanding it. (they are first graders) They were able to solve problems, tell time, count money, add and subtract multi-number problems with ease. This includes the special education population of the class.
