Great differentiation during distance learning
Community Review for eSpark
My Take
This is a great program, but it does require some support for the little ones, as well as some training for the adults working with them. If they get too much help, then it gets too hard for them. If they don't have enough help, then they can't figure out how to operate the program (which buttons to click, how to record their videos, etc.). But once everyone is used to using it, it is a great differentiation tool. I also love that I get notifications if students are struggling on a standard so I can follow up with a small group lesson and assign that standard to them again. The weekly reports have been invaluable during our foray into distance learning.
How I Use It
I used eSpark for differentiated individual learning in my classroom. Once we received the COVID-19 Stay at Home order, I sent the parent letter home to keep the kids learning while they are at home.
