A Great Tool for Reviewing concepts taught
Kahoot gives me an indication of students' misconception of a topic or their deep understanding of topics taught. It's a quick way of determining concepts that have been mastered and those that need to be re-taught. The students get very excited about using Kahoot.

Interactive Formative Assessment Win!
Great interactive tool for formative assessments, genius time filler for downtime or even to wake up students in the middle of a lesson, or the day. Simple enough to create as a fall back plan for each lesson. Students must be connected to the internet, I used iPads and or student phones. Students would occasionally be kicked out, during the game but this was enough to deter me from using it on a regular basis.

Great for student engagement.
Great website to use for reviewing information and keeping students attention. Students can also create their own Kahoot! and share online or keep it private. Good for students who have missed class and/or like to take extra time studying to have access to review materials almost anywhere.

Great way to get students excited about interactive quizzes!
I like that Kahoot! is accessible on multiple forms of technology, and is not limited to any one subject area. It does tend to freeze on the students, which can take the fun out using the application. At the end of each Quiz you are able to download the results, which is an easy way to gather grades. Kahoot! also has an "end quiz" button that allows you to stop the quiz at any point and time, so it doesn't force you to rush through the whole quiz if you run out of class time.

Kahoot! is a great interactive way to review & check for understanding
Although the students get awfully excited about playing kahoot, it is a nice active way to engage them and put a little fire under them. The tool is extremely versatile, keeps my data so I can see how students answer, and is very easy to use.

Great game for students for any subject!
There was a lot more engagement from the class as a whole. I think this generation of students is more involved with technology and the more we can use it in our classrooms the more excited students will get about learning. I like that we can search for quizzes that other teachers have made, but can also customize, edit, and create our own version of the quiz. I really like that you can customize how much time is given on each question so you can adjust it to your student's needs. One thing I wish this product was capable of would be fill in the blank questions. You can do multiple choice and true/false but no fill in the blank. Overall, great product that I will continue to use in my classes!

Engaging Formative Assessment Where Students Can Track Their Progress In Real Time
I like that this a relatively easy way to incorporate technology into a whole-group setting. If you have iPads/iPods at your disposal it is much easier than taking the class down to the computer lab for an assessment. I think the competitive nature makes it a fun way to take a quiz/test, and provides the teacher with valuable data as to which concepts students might be struggling with.

Kids LOVED it, but I Don't Know How Much They Learned...
One thing I like about this app, is that it is easy to use. It's simple for me to create one as well as for the students to join. I also really enjoy how engaged the students become when they play this app. The downside is that I feel students, are just pressing the buttons without reading. They're trying to be as fast as possible, rather than to actually think about the correct answer. I think this would be best for questions that require quick either you know it or you don't responses. Numbered responses or a vocabulary review would be great for this. Anything that requires critical thinking would not work for this app.
